After her Supreme Court nomination was announced by President Obama, the mainstream media "tactfully spilled the beans", releasing a photo of Elena Kagan playing softball, and thinking themselves oh so clever by implying that she might be a lesbian because she played sports. Although cliche, still not as incriminating as a picture of her with a mullet and wearing Birkenstocks. But none the less, depending who you are, this might truly be news worthy on so many levels....another woman justice, our first gay justice (that we know of)...pretty cool, right? But those of us "in the community" blessed with the gift of gay-dar knew from the moment the first photo of the newbie was released she's probably a sister and there is truly cause to celebrate. Let's hope she does us proud by upholding the Constitution of the United States as our forefathers intended, for it is because of this great document and foundation on which this country was founded that in the year 2010, we could have an African American President, a gay Supreme Court justice, and if everything goes right next election, our first woman president. It's been a long, hard road to get here and we still have a long way to go, but despite all it's faults, USA rules! Happy 234th America!!!!
